The snow and rain that was supposed to move in last night never materialized, instead it was another beautiful day in Moab and I was stuck indoors getting some work done. I’ve decided to keep working east-coast hours seeing as that’s when everybody expects me to be online anyways so at least I can skip out around 3:00 local and enjoy 2 hours of daylight.

Today’s brief adventure involved a trip up to Arches National Park to take a picture that I meant to get when I was out here last year. That time around I spent the afternoon in Canyonlands and couldn’t get back to Arches in time for the sunset. This time around I barely made it as well, completing the 3 mile round trip hike in motorcycle boots and wearing armored pants because I didn’t think I had enough time to change into hiking clothes (I didn’t). The blisters will heal, and the picture was worth it.
